Bowling Fundraiser

Please come out and join the Daytona Beach Fire Department on Saturday August 16, 2008, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Ormond Lanes for a Bowling Benefit to help raise funds to aid Leona Raulerson, a former office specialist for the Daytona Beach Fire Department. Mrs. Raulerson had to leave the Fire Department due to health issues, currently goes to dialysis three times a week, and is currently on a list to receive a much needed kidney transplant.

A donation of $20 per bowler includes: 3 games of bowling, shoes, pizza and soda, and one ticket for the prize drawing. Additional tickets for the drawing will also be available: one for $1.00 or 10 for $5.00. Many prizes are set to be drawn for, including various bowling prizes.

There will be live music provided by DJ ORION, and the bar will be open for business during the fundraiser.

The Bowling tournament will have teams of 4 people, and is a team event open to all ages. No handicap. You may put your team together with family members, co-workers, friends, or neighbors. Check in for teams is at 12:15 p.m.

**** Individuals who do not have a team may also bowl for a donation of $20.00****

Even if you don’t wish to participate in the tournament, come out and support Leona and enjoy a great fun filled afternoon full of music, bowling, and prize drawings.
